That’s the wonderfully strange—and incredibly entertaining—experience of a Silent Disco.

Join us at Madison Heights in Maldon on Saturday 30th January 2027 for a different kind of night out where you choose the music.

All ages are welcome.

What exactly is a Silent Disco?

Instead of music playing through traditional speakers, everyone receives a pair of wireless headphones on arrival.

Three DJs play different styles of music at the same time. Simply press a button on your headphones to change channel whenever you like.

Don’t enjoy the song that’s playing? Switch channels instantly. There’s no need to wait for the DJ to play something you love.

Your headphones light up to show which channel you’re listening to, so you can also see which music your friends have chosen. Take your headphones off for a moment and you’ll hear the entire room singing along to three different songs—it’s one of the funniest parts of the experience!

What music will be played?

With three different channels available, there should be something for almost everyone:

• 🔴 60s, 70s and 80s classics
• 🔵 90s and 00s party favourites
• 🟢 Modern hits and dance-floor anthems

You can stay with your favourite DJ or move between channels throughout the evening.

What if I don’t like the music on my channel?

Press the channel button on your headphones and try one of the other DJs. You can change channels as often as you like.

Will the room be completely silent?

The music is heard through the headphones rather than speakers. However, the room certainly won’t feel silent—you’ll hear plenty of people singing along and enjoying themselves!

Can children attend?

Yes, this is an all-ages event, making it suitable for families as well as groups of adults.

Will tickets be available on the door?

We cannot guarantee door availability. Silent Disco events require a limited number of wireless headphones, so booking in advance is strongly recommended.
