If you love the iconic sounds of Wham and George Michael, then you definitely do not want to miss this evening!
Steve’s love for the music of George Michael began in 1985 after hearing my then girlfriend play “Everything she wants” on MTV. From that moment he was always singing George’s songs.
Coming from a very musical family, his father an accomplished pianist, graduate from the royal college in London, his brother a violinist, and his mother a soprano vocalist. “Music was always in their family, it was 24/7”.
Singing carried him towards performing with bands. People would also ask me to sing ‘Careless Whisper’ and ‘A Different Corner’ at many local events, of course without any doubt he did.
Steve worked professionally on the circuits and tours in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma from 2009 until 2014 but still after all these years, never performing live any George Michael songs. This was finally about to change for him.
George Michael Theatre Tour
After singing George’s songs for many years he had never worked as a tribute to the star. Steve wanted the opportunity to work with a live band. In 2017, he saw an advert for a George Michael theatre show and after auditioning I was offered the part. I toured with this production for 3 years, lived his dream of performing the songs of George Michael on a theatre stage.
Throughout the evening, you will be taken on a journey through the iconic hits from both George’s solo career as well as hits from his early days with Wham.
So, get ready ladies, and gents of course, for a great night of singing and dancing.
